The
Waco Family Medicine Residency Program is enhanced by its location in
a pleasant, clean air city within 100 miles of both Dallas and Austin.
As a leading city in central Texas, Waco offers attractive educational,
cultural and recreational opportunities while avoiding some of the problems
associated with larger metropolitan areas.
Hillcrest Health System and Providence Health Center, for example, are
only about 10 minutes apart and can be reached within 15 minutes from virtually
any residential area. Waco's cost
of living index is among the nation's lowest, yet it has one of the state's
fastest growing economies.

including the Texas Ranger Museum, Texas Sports Hall of Fame, Dr. Pepper

Theatre, quaint brick walkways, a river walk and the early homes of Waco bring
the past alive. Waco caters to many tastes with its own symphony, opera
